Winter Snow Information

The Street Department maintains over 60 miles of streets within the city that includes snow removal, patching, crack sealing, striping, crosswalk painting, street sweeping, drainage and repair of the storm sewer system.

Snow removal operations begin when snowfall has reached 2 inches. Snow removal starts with major arterial roads and thoroughfares in the city and then follow with residential streets.
