Leaf Vacuum

Leaf Vacuum operations begin on Monday, October 6th. The last week of pick up is October 27-31. City residents may also bring their leaves and brush any time of day to the Public Works Maintenance Facility located at 1121 Atlantic Ave N.
Pickup schedule is according to Ward (CLICK HERE for map). This service is for City Residents only.

- Ward 1= Mondays
- Ward 2= Tuesdays
- Ward 3= Wednesdays
- Ward 4= Thursdays
- Ward 5= Fridays
Please note the following Leaf Vacuum Pick-up Rules:
- Place leaves in windrows (long, skinny piles) within 4’ of curb (on grass, not in curb gutter on street.)
- Avenue pick-up only, leaves will not be picked up from the street locations.
- Do not place any sticks, branches, or other debris with leaves.
- Do not tarp or cover windrows/piles scheduled for that day’s leaf pick-up.
- Do not place leaf windrows/piles near light poles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, or any other obstruction.
- Keep windrows/piles separated from normal sanitation pick-up.
- Remove any vehicles, campers, trailers, etc. on Avenues scheduled for that day’s leaf pick-up (50’ clearance).
Please note the following: Leaf pickup is administered with a vacuum boom that has limited reach, and leaf location must be within close proximity to the curb. Any windrows/piles remaining in that day’s pick-up route has conflict with one or more of the above stated rules. Thank you for your cooperation.
**All leaves in remaining in each Ward after the last scheduled pickup date will have to be delivered to the Public Works Maintenance Facility located at 1121 Atlantic Ave North. No exceptions.
